Operating Model

Ministering Together has adopted an operating model that seeks to link local and national organizations in a dynamic network of collaboration and care. Overseeing the work is staff, its Executive Committee and Board, comprised of key senior leaders working in a myriad of national Catholic organizations.  These individuals and organizations play a vital role in the ministry of the Church and are able to help the local church affect positive and lasting change in the lives of those in need.

Our goals are to:

• Articulate and share our vision with a broader spectrum of individuals;
• Provide a format for diocesan coordinators and "champions" of collaboration to share their stories regarding how they serve the people of God more effectively through collaboration on a national level;
• Gather and publish the observations and suggestions of those engaged in collaboration throughout the nation;
• Establish communication and support for collaboration
• Identify and develop resources to assist individuals, programs, and communities in response to those in need
• Enhance the efforts of Catholic Social services, health care, and education in fulfilling the caring and healing mission of Jesus
